1994 Ford Taurus V6-182 3.0L DOHC SHOSECTION X61 - Check WAC Circuit For Shorts to Power


- Key "OFF".

- Breakout box installed, Powertrain Control Module (PCM) disconnected.

- Constant Control Relay Module (CCRM) disconnected.

- Measure voltage between test pin 54 and battery negative post.

- Is voltage less than 1.0 volt?

Yes -- Key "OFF". Go to X62. X62 - Isolate Fault to PCM or CCRM

No -- Key "OFF". Service short to power in Wide Open Throttle A/C Cut-Off (WAC) circuit. Remove breakout box. Reconnect all components. Re-evaluate symptom.
