X50 - Check For Continuity From CCRM to A/C Clutch
1994 Ford Taurus V6-182 3.0L DOHC SHOSECTION X50 - Check For Continuity From CCRM to A/C Clutch
- Key "OFF".
- A/C clutch disconnected.
- Disconnect Constant Control Relay Module (CCRM).
- Measure resistance between Pin 23 of the CCRM vehicle harness connector and power side of the A/C clutch vehicle harness connector.
- Measure resistance between Pin 16 of the CCRM vehicle harness connector and ground side of the A/C clutch vehicle harness connector.
- Is each resistance less than 5.0 ohms?
Yes -- Reconnect A/C clutch. Go to X51. X51 - Check For A/C Demand Switch Voltage to CCRM
No -- Service open in power or ground to A/C clutch. Reconnect CCRM and A/C clutch. Re-evaluate symptom.
