NOTE: You should enter this Pinpoint Test only when you have been directed here from Diagnostic Routines.

The Octane Adjust (OCT ADJ) shorting bar is similar to the SPOUT (Spark Output) in-line connector. On some applications, the Power Steering Pressure circuit will also have a similarly shaped shorting bar connector. DO NOT remove the shorting bar unless you have been directed by a specific application or technical service bulletin.

REMEMBER: This Pinpoint Test is intended to diagnose only the following:

- Harness circuits: SIG RTN, Octane Adjust (OCT ADJ)

- Octane shorting bar connector

When to See a Mechanic
