1994 Ford Taurus V6-182 3.0L DOHC SHOSECTION DB10 - Continuous Memory Code 326: Check Engine Idle
Continuous Memory Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) 326 indicates that sometime in the last 80 warm-up cycles. the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) detected EGR flow at idle.
Possible Causes:
- EGR valve stuck open.
- Damaged EGR Temperature (EGRT) sensor.
- Damaged harness circuit.
- Key "OFF".
- Clear continuous memory. Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes
- Start engine and let idle for at least two minutes.
- Does engine idle rough or stall?
Yes -- Turn engine "OFF". Refer Emission Control Systems for EGR valve diagnosis.
No -- Turn engine "OFF". Go to DB11. DB11 - Verify Condition
