Dual Pressure Switch Testing:
1. Disconnect the dual pressure switch connector.
2. Using a jumper wire, connect the terminal on the pressure wiring harness.
3. Connect an ohmmeter to the pressure switch terminals.
4. Install a manifold gauge set to the high side service port.
5. Operate the air conditioning system and check for switch continuity at the specified pressure.
High/Low Pressure Side:
PRESSURE INCREASING OHMMETER READING
33 PSI Continuity
384 PSI No continuity
PRESSURE DECREASING OHMMETER READING
299 PSI Continuity
30 PSI No continuity
6. If there is no continuity, replace the switch.
