Circuit/System Testing
2025 Chevrolet Traverse High Country, FWDSECTION Circuit/System Testing
- Ignition/Vehicle OFF, disconnect the X1 harness connector at the K32 Heated Steering Wheel Module and the harness connector at the S70L Cruise Control Switch.
- Test for infinite resistance between signal circuit terminal 1 at the X1 harness connector and ground.
- If less than infinite resistance
Repair the short to ground on circuit 5883.
- Go to next step: If infinite resistance
- If less than infinite resistance
- Test for infinite resistance between terminal 13 and terminal 1 at the S70L Cruise Control Switch with the steering wheel heater switch released
- If less than infinite resistance
Replace the S70L Cruise Control Switch.
- Go to next step: If infinite resistance
- If less than infinite resistance
- Test for less than 10 Ω between terminal 13 and terminal 1 at the S70L Cruise Control Switch with the steering wheel heater switch pressed.
- If 10 Ω or greater
Replace the S70L Cruise Control Switch
- Go to next step: If less than 10 Ω
- If 10 Ω or greater
- All OK.
