2025 Chevrolet Traverse High Country, FWDSECTION Removal Procedure
  1. Drain the cooling system. Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716) 
  2. Recover the refrigerant. Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging (R-134a) , or Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging (R-1234yf)

    Front Bumper Fascia (1) - Remove - Front Bumper Fascia Removal and Installation (Base) , or Front Bumper Fascia Removal and Installation (Z71)

    Headlamp Bolt - Left Side and Right Side (1) - Remove [2x]

  9. Hood Front Bumper Bracket Support - Left Side (4) - Remove

    Hood Front Bumper Bracket Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]

    Retainer (1) - Remove [2x]

  14. Radiator Air Upper Baffle (2) - Remove

    The upper shutter and upper baffle will be removed together.

    Radiator Air Front Upper Baffle Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]

  16. Disconnect harness and retainers as necessary.

    Radiator Upper Bracket Bolt - Left Side and Right Side (1) - Remove [4x]

    Auxiliary Radiator Inlet Hose Retainer (1) - Disengage

  22. Oil Filler Cap - Remove

    Intake Manifold Cover (1) - Remove

    NOTE:

    To avoid small parts like bolts or retainers fallen into the engine, install the Oil Filer Cap.

    Oil Filler Cap (1) - Install

    Positive Crankcase Ventilation Fresh Air Tube (1) @ Air Cleaner Outlet Duct - Disconnect - Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service

    Turbocharger Outlet Duct Front Clamp (1) - Release

  27. Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Clamp (5) - Loosen
  28. Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Bolt (2) - Remove [2x]
  29. Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Nut (3) - Remove
  30. Air Cleaner Outlet Resonator (4) - Remove

    Clip (1) - Remove [2x]

    -Disconnect the wiring harness retainers as necessary.

  33. Charge Air Cooler Coolant Pump Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]
  34. Charge Air Cooler Coolant Pump (2) - Reposition

    Charge Air Cooler Coolant Hose (1) @ Engine Auxiliary Radiator - Remove

  36. Disconnect the electrical connector and release the wiring harness retainers as necessary.

    Radiator Surge Tank Air Separator (1) - Remove

  39. Radiator Inlet Hose (2) @ Engine Radiator - Remove

  43. Air Conditioning Refrigerant Heat Exchanger Nut (3) - Remove
  44. Air Conditioning Refrigerant Heat Exchanger (4) @ Air Conditioning Condenser - Remove
  45. Air Conditioning Compressor Hose Seal (5) - Remove and DISCARD

    Air Conditioning Compressor and Condenser Hose Nut (1) - Remove

  47. Air Conditioning Compressor and Condenser Hose (2) @ Air Conditioning Condenser - Remove
