Removal Procedure

2025 Chevrolet Traverse High Country, FWDSECTION Removal Procedure
  1. Drain the cooling system. Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716) 
  2. Remove underbody panels as necessary. Underbody Panel Component Locator

    Radiator Outlet Hose Bracket Bolt (1) @ Radiator Outlet Hose (2) - Remove

    Hose Clamp (2) - Disengage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type 

  5. Radiator Outlet Hose (1) @ Water Pump Module - Remove
  6. Hose Clamp (3) - Disengage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type 
  7. Water Pump Inlet Hose (4) @ Water Pump Module - Remove
  8. Hose Clamp (5) - Disengage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type 
  9. Water Pump Inlet Hose (4) @ Engine Oil Cooler - Remove

    Disconnect the electrical connector and release the wiring harness retainers as necessary. (1)

    Water Pump Bolt (1) - Remove

  14. Water Pump Module (1) & Lower Crankcase Extension Coolant Hose (2) - Remove
