Circuit/System Testing
DTC B0126 46 or B0126 49
- Verify DTC B0126 46 or B0126 49 is not set.
- If the DTC is set.
- Replace the B292 Driver Monitoring Camera
- Verify the DTC does not reset
- If the DTC resets, replace the K180 Driver Monitoring Control Module
- Go to next step: If the DTC does not reset,
- All OK.
- Go to next step: If the DTC is not set
- All OK. A fault is currently not present and may be an intermittent condition.
DTC B0126 57
- Verify DTC B0126 57 is not set.
- If the DTC is set.
- Refer to reprogramming:
- Verify the DTC does not reset
- If the DTC resets, replace the B292 Driver Monitoring Camera.
- Go to next step: If the DTC does not reset,
- All OK.
- Go to next step: If the DTC is not set
- All OK. A fault is currently not present and may be an intermittent condition.
DTC B0126 82
- Ignition ON.
- Verify the B292 Driver Monitoring Camera coax cable is properly connected at all components, and there is no damage to the cable or connections.
- If connection problems or cable damage is noted
Perform the appropriate repair or replacement to correct any issues
- Go to next step: If no connection problems or cable damage is noted
- If connection problems or cable damage is noted
- Verify DTC B0126 82 is not set.
- If the DTC is set
Replace the B292 Driver Monitoring Camera
- Go to next step: If the DTC is not set
- If the DTC is set
- Verify DTC B0126 78 is not set.
- If DTC is set
- Clean the replacement B292 Driver Monitoring Camera.
- Verify the camera is mounted correctly.
- If the camera is incorrectly mounted, remove and reinstall camera
- Go to next step: If the camera is mounted correctly
- Replace the K180 Driver Monitoring System Module.
- Go to next step: If the DTC is not set
- All OK. A fault is currently not present and may be an intermittent condition.
DTC B0126 98
- Check for external damage, or presence of debris on or near the B292 Driver Monitoring Camera.
- If external damage, or presence of debris on or near the B292 Driver Monitoring Camera is noted
Perform the appropriate repair or replacement to correct any issues
- Go to next step: If no external damage, or presence of debris on or near the B292 Driver Monitoring Camerais noted
- If external damage, or presence of debris on or near the B292 Driver Monitoring Camera is noted
- Verify DTC B0126 98 is not set.
- If the DTC is set
Check for excessive heat in the area around the B292 Driver Monitoring Camera.
- Go to next step: If excessive heat is noted in the area around the B292 Driver Monitoring Camera
- If the DTC is set
- Allow the B292 Driver Monitoring Camerato cool, then clear the code using the scan tool.
- Verify DTC B0126 98 is not set.
- If DTC is set
- Replace the B292 Driver Monitoring Camera
- Go to next step: If the DTC is not set
- All OK. A fault is currently not present and may be an intermittent condition.
