Circuit/System Description
The steering column mounted electronic power steering control module contains the steering wheel angle sensor. The steering wheel angle sensor identifies the position and direction of the steering wheel rotation to calculate the driver intended driving direction. The power steering control module uses the signal to determine the proper amount of steering assist to provide.

When to See a Mechanic
