Circuit/System Verification

2025 Chevrolet Trailblazer ACTIV, FWDSECTION Circuit/System Verification
  1. Ignition/Vehicle - Off
  2. Test or inspect for the following: Brake Pedal = Binding or Sticking

    Refer to: Brake System Slow Release

  3. Perform the scan tool control function: Brake Master Cylinder Pressure Test
    • If the procedure/test passes 
    1. Ignition/Vehicle - Off - For greater than 5 min
    2. Ignition/Vehicle - On - For greater than 30 s - Brake Pedal Not Applied
    3. Verify DTC C05CC is not set
      • If the DTC sets

        Replace the component: A104 Brake Master Cylinder

      • Go to next step: If the DTC is not set
    4. All OK.
    • Go to next step: If the procedure/test does not pass 
  4. Bleed the brake system. Refer to: Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Pressure)
  5. Perform the scan tool control function: Brake Hydraulics Test
    • If the procedure/test does not pass 
  6. Replace the component: A104 Brake Master Cylinder
    • Go to next step: If the procedure/test passes 
  7. Ignition/Vehicle - Off - For greater than 5 min
  8. Ignition/Vehicle - On - For greater than 30 s - Brake Pedal Not Applied
  9. Verify DTC C05CC is not set
    • If the DTC sets 

      Replace the component: A104 Brake Master Cylinder

    • Go to next step: If the DTC is not set 
  10. All OK.
