Installation Procedure
Steering Column (1) @ Vehicle - Install
Steering Column Lower Support Bracket Bolt (1) - Hand tighten [2x]
Electrical Connector (1) - Connect [2x]
- Swing up the steering column to the correct position.
- CAUTION:
Steering Column Nut (1) - Install and tighten [2x] 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
Steering Column Lower Support Bracket Bolt (1) - Tighten [2x] 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
- Intermediate Steering Shaft @ Vehicle - Install - Intermediate Steering Shaft Replacement
Instrument Panel Lower Airbag Bracket (2) - Install
- Instrument Panel Lower Airbag Bracket Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] 9 N.m (80 lb in)
Instrument Panel Lower Airbag - Driver Side (1) - Install - Instrument Panel Lower Airbag Replacement - Driver Side
Instrument Panel Knee Bolster (1) - Install - Instrument Panel Knee Bolster Replacement
- Steering Column Control Module - Install - Steering Column Control Module Replacement
- Steering Wheel - Install - Steering Wheel Replacement
- Steering Wheel Airbag - Install - Steering Wheel Airbag Replacement
- Enable the SIR System. SIR Disabling and Enabling
- Program the electronic power steering control module. Control Module References
- Calibrate the steering angle sensor. Steering Wheel Angle Sensor Centering
