2025 Chevrolet Trailblazer ACTIV, 4WDSECTION Circuit/System Verification

DTC C1437 00

  1. Verify that all harness connectors are installed properly at the K43 Power Steering Control Module.
    • If a harness connector at the K43 Power Steering Control Module is not installed properly 
    1. Connect the appropriate harness connector properly at the K43 Power Steering Control Module.
    2. Verify the DTC does not set.
      • If the DTC sets, replace the Steering Column.
      • Go to next step: If the DTC does not set
    3. All OK.
    • Go to next step: If all harness connectors at the K43 Power Steering Control Module are installed properly 
  2. Ignition ON.
  3. Verify the scan tool Torque Sensor parameter changes when turning the steering wheel.
    • If the parameter does not change 

      Replace the Steering Column.

    • Go to next step: If the parameter changes 
  4. All OK.

DTC C1437 4B

  1. Ignition ON.
  2. Verify that DTC C1437 4B is not set.
    • If the DTC C1437 4B is set 

      Program the K43 Power Steering Control Module.

    1. Verify that DTC C1437 4B is not set.
      • If the DTC C1437 4B is set 

        Replace the steering column.

      • Go to next step: If the DTC C1437 4B did not set 

        Go to next step: All OK.

    • Go to next step: If the DTC C1437 4B is not set 
  3. All OK.
