Removal Procedure

2025 Chevrolet Tahoe PPV, 4WDSECTION Removal Procedure
  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (9C1 / 5W4) , or Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (KL9)
  2. Remove underbody panels as necessary. Underbody Panel Component Locator

    Remove the power steering assist motor wire clip (3).

  4. Remove the power steering control module wiring power harness (1) from the 2 retaining clips (2) and reposition.

    Disconnect the power steering control module wiring power harness (2) from the main power steering wiring harness (1).

    Disconnect the power steering control module wiring power harness (1) from the power steering assist motor.

  7. Remove the power steering control module wiring power harness clip (2) from the electric belt drive rack and pinion steering gear housing.
  8. Remove the power steering control module wiring power harness (1).
