DTC C0051 49
- Verify that all harness connectors are installed properly at the K43 Power Steering Control Module.
- If a harness connector at the K43 Power Steering Control Module is not installed properly
- Connect the appropriate harness connector properly at the K43 Power Steering Control Module.
- Verify the DTC does not set.
- If the DTC sets, replace the Steering Gear.
- Go to next step: If the DTC does not set
- All OK.
- Go to next step: If all harness connectors at the K43 Power Steering Control Module are installed properly
- Ignition ON.
- Verify the scan tool Steering Wheel Angle parameter changes when turning the steering wheel.
- If the parameter does not change
Replace the Steering Gear.
- Go to next step: If the parameter changes
- If the parameter does not change
- All OK.
DTC C0051 54
- Ignition ON.
- Verify that DTC C0051 54 is not set.
- If the DTC C0051 54 is set
Calibrate the K43 Power Steering Control Module. Refer to Power Steering Control Module Calibration
- Verify that DTC C0051 54 is not set.
- If the DTC C0051 54 is set
Replace the steering gear.
- Go to next step: If the DTC C0051 54 did not set
Go to next step: All OK.
- If the DTC C0051 54 is set
- Go to next step: If the DTC C0051 54 is not set
- If the DTC C0051 54 is set
- All OK.
