Removal Procedure
- Disable the SIR system. SIR Disabling and Enabling
Pull down the windshield garnish molding (1) rearwards to release the retaining clips (2) and the tether from the A pillar.
- Access the windshield garnish molding bolt (3) on the backside of the windshield garnish molding (1).
- Windshield Garnish Molding Bolt (3) - Remove
Windshield Garnish Molding - Left Side (1) - Remove
Reposition the weatherstrip as necessary.
- Windshield Pillar Assist Handle Cover (1) - Remove [2x]
- Windshield Pillar Assist Handle Bolt (2) - Remove [2x]
- Windshield Garnish Molding - Right Side (3) - Remove
Using a flat bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.
- Instrument Panel Extension (1) - Remove
Instrument Cluster Bolt (1) - Remove [4x]
Using a flat bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.
- Disconnect the electrical connectors.
- Instrument Panel Cluster Control Module (1) - Remove
Using a flat bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.
- Instrument Panel Fuse Block Access Hole Cover - Right Side (1) - Remove
Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Bolt (1) - Remove
Using a flat bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Instrument Panel Center Trim Pad - Right Side (1) - Remove
Instrument Panel Trim Plate Applique Bolt (1) - Remove [8x]
Using a flat bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.
- Instrument Panel Trim Plate Applique - Right Side (1) - Remove
Using a flat bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.
- Instrument Panel Upper Trim Panel Cover (1) - Remove
Radio Control Bolt (1) - Remove [6x]
Using a flat bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.
- Disconnect the electrical connectors.
- Radio Control (1) - Remove
Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Outer Filler (1) - Remove
Using a flat bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.
- Instrument Panel Outer Trim Cover - Left Side (1) - Remove
Using a flat bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.
- Instrument Panel Trim Pad - Left Side (1) - Remove
Using a flat bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.
- Instrument Panel Center Trim Pad - Left Side (1) - Remove
Instrument Panel Outer Air Outlet Bolt (1) - Remove [3x]
Using a flat bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.
- Disconnect the electrical connectors.
- Instrument Panel Outer Air Outlet - Left Side (1) - Remove
Release the retaining tabs.
- Vehicle Stability Control System Switch (1) - Remove
