Circuit/System Testing
2025 Chevrolet Suburban LS, RWDSECTION Circuit/System Testing
- Ignition/Vehicle & All vehicle systems - Off
- Disconnect the appropriate electrical connector: X1 @ X85 Steering Wheel Air Bag Coil
- Ignition - On / Vehicle - In Service Mode
- Test for less than 10 Ω between the test points: Low Reference circuit terminal 18 & Ground
- If 10 Ω or greater
- Disconnect the electrical connector: X8 @ K124 Image Processing Module
- X8 @ K124 Image Processing Module with UKL
- X1 @ K124 Image Processing Module with UKR
- Test for less than 2 Ω between the test points: Low Reference circuit terminal 18 @ Component harness & Terminal 1 X8 @ Control module harness
- If 2 ohms or greater - Repair the open/high resistance in the circuit.
- If less than 2 ohms - Replace the component: K124 Image Processing Module
- Go to next step: If less than 10 Ω
- Test for less than 1 V between the test points: Control circuit terminal 17 & Ground
- If greater than 1 V
- Ignition/Vehicle - Off
- Disconnect the electrical connector: X8 @ K124 Image Processing Module
- Ignition - On / Vehicle - In Service Mode
- Test for less than 1 V between the test points: Control circuit terminal 3 @ Component harness & Ground
- If 1 V or greater - Repair the short to voltage on circuit 2245.
- If less than 1 V - proceed to Step 7.
- Go to next step: If less than 1 V
- Test for less than 1 V between the test points: Control circuit terminal 13 @ component harness & Ground
- If greater than 1 V
- Ignition/Vehicle - Off
- Disconnect the electrical connector: X8 @ K124 Image Processing Module
- Ignition - On / Vehicle - In Service Mode
- Test for less than 1 V between the test points: Control circuit terminal 2 @ Component harness & Ground
- If 1 V or greater - Repair the short to voltage on circuit 2246.
- If less than 1 V - Replace the component: K124 Image Processing Module
- Go to next step: If less than 1 V
- Ignition/Vehicle & All vehicle systems - Off
- Test for infinite resistance between the test points: Control circuit terminal 17 & Ground
- If less than infinite resistance
Repair the short to ground on circuit 2245.
- Go to next step: If infinite resistance
- If less than infinite resistance
- Test for infinite resistance between the test points: Control circuit terminal 13 & Ground
- If less than infinite resistance
Repair the short to ground on circuit 2246.
- Go to next step: If infinite resistance
- If less than infinite resistance
- Test for less than 2 Ω between the test points: Control circuit terminal 17 & The other end of the circuit
- If greater than 2 Ω
Repair the open/high resistance in the circuit.
- Go to next step: If less than 2 Ω
- If greater than 2 Ω
- Test for less than 2 Ω between the test points: Control circuit terminal 13 & The other end of the circuit
- If greater than 2 Ω
Repair the open/high resistance in the circuit.
- Go to next step: If less than 2 Ω
- If greater than 2 Ω
- Replace the component: P51 Steering Wheel LED Display
