Circuit/System Testing
2025 Chevrolet Suburban LS, RWDSECTION Circuit/System Testing
- Verify the B292 Driver Monitoring Camera coax cable is properly routed and connected at all components and connectors, and verify there is no damage to the cable(s) and/or connection issues.
- If connection problems or cable damage is found
Perform the appropriate repair or replacement to correct any coax issues.
- Go to next step: If no connection problems or cable damage is found
- If connection problems or cable damage is found
- Replace the B292 Driver Monitoring Camera.
- Vehicle ON.
- Verify DTC B1599 is set.
- If DTC is not set, all ok
- Go to next step: If the DTC is set
- Replace the K180 Driver Monitoring System Module.
NOTE:
Verify there are no opens, shorts to ground, shorts between the coax and shield, high resistance and/or intermittent connections that may cause a concern.
