    Heated Steering Wheel Module (1) - Install

    Connect the heated steering wheel module electrical connectors (1).

    Steering Wheel Shroud (1) - Install

    Maneuver the steering wheel shroud (1) by first placing the shroud over the automatic transmission manual shift auxiliary position switches and then securing at the bottom.

    Fasten the heated steering wheel module (1) to the steering wheel shroud by engaging the plastic retaining tabs.

    Steering Wheel Spoke Cover Bolt (1) @ Steering Wheel Shroud - Install and tighten [5x] - Fastener Specifications

    Steering Wheel (2) - Install

  8. Connect the electrical connector.
  9. If a NEW threaded component is being installed, loosen the adhesive using a metal pick or similar tool before proceeding. If threaded component is reused, prepare the threaded component using the following steps:
    1. Remove any loose cured adhesive from the external threads of the component using a lint free cloth.
    2. Thread the cleaned component into the internal mating threads and remove to loosen trapped cured adhesive.
    3. Remove loose debris from internal and external threads using compressed air.
    4. Apply liquid thread locking adhesive in a strip along half of the length of the external threads, starting at the tip, just prior to installation. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers 
  10. Steering Wheel Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

    Connect the electrical connectors.

  12. Install any connector position assurance (CPA) devices or secondary locks.
  13. WARNING:

    After installation of the steering wheel airbag module to the steering wheel, slightly pull the module outward. If there is no give on the airbag module then it is secured correctly. If the airbag module is not fully attached personal injury could result.

    Steering Wheel Airbag Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    Steering Wheel Airbag Access Hole Cover - Left Side and Right Side (1) - Install

  17. Enable the SIR System. SIR Disabling and Enabling
