Removal Procedure
- Front Floor Console - Remove - Front Floor Console Removal and Installation
Use a flat bladed plastic tool to remove.
- Instrument Panel Upper Trim Panel Cover (1) - Remove
Instrument Cluster Bolt (1) - Remove [4x]
- Disconnect the electrical connectors.
- Instrument Panel Cluster Control Module (2) - Remove
Radio Control Bolt (1) - Remove [4x]
- Disconnect the electrical connectors.
- Radio Control (2) - Remove
Instrument Panel Outer Trim Cover - Right Side (1) - Remove
Instrument Panel Trim Pad Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]
- Electrical Connector (2) - Disconnect
- { If equipped } Electrical Connector (3) - Disconnect
- Instrument Panel Trim Pad (4) - Remove
Heater and Air Conditioning User Interface Control Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]
- Heater and Air Conditioning User Interface Control (2) - Remove
- Use a flat - bladed plastic trim tool to release the retaining clips.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
Hood Primary Latch Release Cable Handle (1) - Remove
Instrument Panel Knee Bolster Bolt (1) - Remove
- Instrument Panel Fuse Block Access Hole Cover (2) - Remove
Instrument Panel Outer Trim Cover - Left Side (1) - Remove
Instrument Panel Trim Pad Bolt (1) - Remove
- { If equipped } Electrical Connector (2) - Disconnect
- Instrument Panel Trim Pad (3) - Remove
Instrument Panel Knee Bolster Bolt (1) - Remove [4x]
Electrical Connector (1) - Disconnect
Instrument Panel Knee Bolster (2) - Remove
Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Insulator Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]
- Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Insulator Retainer (2) - Remove [2x]
- Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Insulator (3) - Remove
Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Insulator Retainer (1) - Remove [3x]
- Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Insulator (2) - Remove
Floor Front Air Outlet Duct Retainer (1) - Remove
Floor Front Air Outlet Duct - Left Side (1) - Remove
Instrument Panel Compartment (1) - Open
- Disconnect the instrument panel compartment door dampener from the instrument panel compartment (1).
- Push the right side of instrument compartment panel (1), separate the instrument panel compartment support panel (2) from the instrument panel compartment (1).
Push the sides of instrument panel compartment (1) to allow the door past the stops.
- Unsnap the instrument panel compartment (1) from the instrument panel assembly.
Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Bolt (1) - Remove [11x]
Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Bolt (1) - Remove [6x]
Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Bolt (1) - Remove [6x]
Wiring Harness Bracket Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]
- Electrical Connector (2) - Remove
- Retainer (3) - Remove [2x]
Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel (1) - Remove
- Electrical Connector (2) - Disconnect
- NOTE:
Some components not shown for graphic clarity.
Radio Bracket Bolt (1) - Remove [3x]
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Release the connector clip.
- Radio Assembly (2) - Remove
Release the retaining tabs.
- Radio (1) @ Radio Bracket (2) - Remove
Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Lighting Control Module (1) - Remove
