- Verify the area in front of the B174W Front View Camera - Windshield is clean, unobstructed, and damage-free.
- If not clean, unobstructed, and damage-free
Clear or repair as necessary.
- Go to next step: If clean, unobstructed, and damage-free
- If not clean, unobstructed, and damage-free
- Verify the B174W Front View Camera - Windshield is properly mounted and secured with no damage.
- If not properly mounted and secured or damage is present
Repair or replace components as necessary.
- Go to next step: If properly mounted and secured and no damage is present
- If not properly mounted and secured or damage is present
- Ignition ON.
- Clear DTCs.
- Drive the vehicle for 3 - 5 minutes at speeds greater than 9 km/h (6 mph) in normal traffic conditions.
- Verify the DTC B1A04 does not set.
- If DTC B1A04 is set
Replace the B174W Front View Camera - Windshield.
- Go to next step: If DTC B1A04 is not set
- If DTC B1A04 is set
- All OK. A fault is currently not present and may be an intermittent condition.
