Control Module Setup

2025 Chevrolet Equinox ACTIV, 4WDSECTION Control Module Setup

To program a replacement control module, perform the following procedure:

    NOTE:

    Steps 1-2 must be performed BEFORE the old K47B Power Transfer Unit Actuator Control Module is removed from the vehicle.

  1. Access the Service Programming System (SPS) and follow the on-screen instructions.
  2. On the SPS Supported Controllers screen, select K20 Engine Control Module - DSAM Prepare Module for Removal and follow the on-screen instructions.
  3. Replace the necessary driveline component(s).
  4. On the SPS Supported Controllers screen, select K20 Engine Control Module - DSAM Setup and follow the on-screen instructions.
  5. Clear DTCs.
