Removal Procedure

- Before removing engine control module (ECM), record oil life percentage remaining.
- Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
Disconnect the electrical connectors from the engine control module.
- Use a suitable tool to release the locking tabs of the engine control module bracket.
- Engine Control Module (1) - Remove
