Cylinder Head Assembly: Specifications
2013 Chevrolet Sonic L4-1.8LSECTION Specifications
Install NEW cylinder head bolts.
Tighten the cylinder head bolts in the sequence shown and to the following specifications:
First pass 25 Nm (18 lb ft)
Second pass 90°
Third pass 90°
Fourth pass 90°
Fifth pass 45°
Cylinder Head Surface Flatness - Block Deck Longitude 0.05 mm (0.00197 in)
Cylinder Head Surface Flatness - Block Deck Transverse 0.03 mm (0.00118 in)
Camshaft Bearing Caps in sequence (2, 3, 1, 4) 8 Nm (71 lb in)
Intake Manifold Bolt 20 Nm (15 lb ft)
Exhaust Manifold 20 Nm (15 lb ft)
