Removal Procedure
1. Remove the primary camshaft drive chain tensioner. Refer to Primary Camshaft Intermediate Drive Chain Tensioner Replacement Primary Camshaft Intermediate Drive Chain Tensioner Replacement.
2. Remove the primary camshaft drive chain lower guide bolts.
3. Remove the primary camshaft drive chain lower guide.
Installation Procedure
1. Position the primary camshaft drive chain lower guide to the oil pump.
Caution:
Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.
2. Install the primary camshaft drive chain lower guide bolts and tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb ft).
3. Install the primary camshaft drive chain tensioner. Refer to Primary Camshaft Intermediate Drive Chain Tensioner Replacement Primary Camshaft Intermediate Drive Chain Tensioner Replacement.
