M10 bearing cap bolts (1-10) first pass in sequence 20 Nm (15 lb ft).
Note:
To properly align the crankshaft thrust bearings, the final thrust of the crankshaft MUST be in the forward direction.
- Using a plastic-face hammer, tap the crankshaft rearward, then forward in order to align the thrust bearings.
M10 bolts (1-10) final pass in sequence 80 degrees
M10 studs (11-20) first pass in sequence 20 Nm (15 lb ft).
M10 studs (11-20) final pass in sequence 51 degrees
M8 bolts (1-5) first pass in sequence 20 Nm (15 lb ft).
M8 bolts (1-5) final pass in sequence 30 Nm (22 lb ft).
M8 bolts (6-10) first pass in sequence 20 Nm (15 lb ft).
M8 bolts (6-10) final pass in sequence 30 Nm (22 lb ft).
Crankshaft Main Bearing Clearance-Production 0.02-0.052 mm(0.0008-0.0021 in)
