Removal Procedure
Warning:
Refer to Brake Dust Warning Brake Dust Warning.
1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle Service and Repair.
2. Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation Service and Repair.
3. Remove the hub and bearing assembly (5). Refer to Front Wheel Hub, Bearing, and Seal Replacement (4WD) Front Wheel Hub, Bearing, and Seal Replacement (4WD)Front Wheel Hub, Bearing, and Seal Replacement (RWD) Front Wheel Hub, Bearing, and Seal Replacement (RWD).
4. Remove the splash shield (6), for 15 series.
5. Remove the splash shield, for 25/35 series.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the splash shield (6), for 15 series.
2. Install the splash shield, for 25/35 series.
3. Install the hub and bearing assembly (5). Refer to Front Wheel Hub, Bearing, and Seal Replacement (4WD) Front Wheel Hub, Bearing, and Seal Replacement (4WD)Front Wheel Hub, Bearing, and Seal Replacement (RWD) Front Wheel Hub, Bearing, and Seal Replacement (RWD).
4. Install the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation Service and Repair.
5. Remove the safety stands.
6. Lower the vehicle.
