Blower Motor Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the right hinge pillar trim panel. Refer to Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side.




2. Remove the blower motor mounting screws.
3. Remove the blower motor cooling tube (2).
4. Disconnect the blower motor electrical connector (4).
5. Remove the blower motor (3).

Installation Procedure




1. Install the blower motor (3).
2. Connect the blower motor electrical connector (4).
3. Install the blower motor cooling tube (2).

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

4. Install the blower motor mounting screws. Tighten the screws to 2 Nm (18 lb in).
5. Install the right hinge pillar trim panel. Refer to Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side.
