Split Bench Seat Replacement

Removal Procedure

Note: If removing both front power seats, remove the passenger seat first. Power to the passenger seat is terminated once the driver seat is disconnected.




1. Ensure that the seat is all the way rearward.
2. Remove the front bolts.
3. Ensure that the seat is all the way forward.
4. Remove the rear bolts.
5. Disconnect the seat electrical connectors to the body harness.
6. Remove the seat from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure




1. Position the seat in the vehicle.
2. Connect the seat electrical connectors to the body harness.
3. Install the rear bolts.
4. Ensure that the seat is all the way rearward.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

Note: After installation of a manual seat, move your body around in the seat to insure that the manual seat adjuster positively locks into position.

5. Install the front bolts. Tighten the front seat mounting bolts to 52.5 Nm (39 lb ft).
