Secondary Timing Chain Guide Replacement - Left Side

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the engine front cover. Refer to Engine Front Cover Replacement (Service and Repair).
2. Remove the spark plugs in order to ease crankshaft/engine rotation. Refer to Spark Plug Replacement (Service and Repair).
3. Remove the left bank secondary camshaft drive chain tensioner. Refer to Secondary Timing Chain Tensioner Removal - Left Side (25. Secondary Timing Chain Tensioner Removal - Left Side).




4. Remove the left bank secondary camshaft drive chain guide. Refer to Secondary Timing Chain Guide Removal - Left Side (27. Secondary Timing Chain Guide Removal - Left Side).

Installation Procedure




1. Install the left bank secondary camshaft drive chain guide. Refer to Secondary Timing Chain Guide Installation - Left Side (114. Secondary Timing Chain Guide Installation - Left Side).
2. Install the left bank secondary camshaft drive chain tensioner. Refer to Secondary Timing Chain Tensioner Installation - Left Side (116. Secondary Timing Chain Tensioner Installation - Left Side).
3. Install the spark plugs. Refer to Spark Plug Replacement (Service and Repair).
4. Install the engine front cover. Refer to Engine Front Cover Replacement (Service and Repair).
