Electronic Brake Control Module Programming and Setup

EBCM Replacement

If the electronic brake control module (EBCM) is replaced, the following procedures must be performed:

EBCM Reprogramming-Refer to Service Programming System (SPS) (Service Programming System (SPS)).

If the EBCM needs to be reprogrammed, refer to Service Programming System (SPS) (Service Programming System (SPS)).

Setup for Component Replacement

The replacement of some components will require a setup procedure for complete repair.

* Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Replacement
* Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM) programming or replacement
* Steering angle sensor replacement
* Steering column replacement
* Steering column replacement
* Steering gear replacement
* Yaw rate and Lateral accelerometer sensor

1. Center the steering wheel with the wheels facing forward.
2. With a scan tool, perform the special functions steering position sensor calibration and follow the on screen instructions.
