Engine Protection Shield Replacement


Removal Procedure

1.Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .





2.Remove the front shield fastener (1, 2).

3.Remove the front shield from the vehicle.





4.Remove the rear shield fastener (1, 2).

5.Remove the rear shield from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure





1.Install the rear shield to the vehicle.

Caution:Refer to Fastener Caution .

2.Install the rear shield fastener (1) and tighten to75 N �m (55 lb ft).

3.Install the rear shield fastener (2) and tighten to20 N �m (15 lb ft).





4.Install the front shield to the vehicle.

5.Install the front shield fastener (1) and tighten to60 N �m (44 lb ft).

6.Install the front shield fastener (2) and tighten to20 N �m (15 lb ft).

7.Lower the vehicle.
