Navigation Control Processor Bracket Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the OnStar(R) vehicle communication interface module (VCIM). Refer to Communication Interface Module Replacement (Service and Repair).




2. Remove the nuts (1) retaining the navigation control processor bracket to the instrument panel (I/P) structure.




3. Remove the bracket from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the bracket to the I/P structure.





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

2. Install the nuts (1) retaining the bracket to I/P structure.

Tighten the fasteners to 9 Nm (80 lb in).

3. Install the VCIM. Refer to Communication Interface Module Replacement (Service and Repair).
