Condition

Some customers may comment that the SES Light is on. Upon inspection, you may find DTC P0128 (Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Below Thermostat Regulating Temperature) stored in the Engine Control Module (ECM).

Correction

Verify that the cooling system is filled to the proper level and that the cooling system is functioning properly. If everything is functioning properly, reprogram the ECM with a new service calibration using the TIS2WEB Service Programming System (SPS) application. As always, make sure your Tech 2(R) is updated with the latest software version.
