Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (1) from the engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor.




2. Remove the ECT sensor.

Installation Procedure





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

1. Install the ECT sensor and tighten to 22 Nm (16 lb ft).




2. Connect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (1) to the ECT sensor.
