Accelerator Pedal with Position Sensor Assembly Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement (Service and Repair).
2. Remove the insulator panel. Instrument Panel Insulator Replacement (Service and Repair).
3. Disconnect the accelerator pedal position (APP) sensor electrical connector (1).
4. Remove the APP sensor nuts.
5. Remove the APP sensor.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the APP sensor.
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution)
2. Install and tighten the APP sensor nuts to10 Nm(89 lb in).
3. Connect the APP sensor electrical connector (1).
4. Install the insulator panel. Instrument Panel Insulator Replacement (Service and Repair).
5. Install the knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement (Service and Repair).
