Windshield Outside Moisture Sensor Replacement

Removal Procedure

Important: The windshield outside moisture sensor coupler is permanently mounted to the windshield and is not serviceable. Damage to the windshield or the windshield outside moisture sensor coupler will occur, if removed.




1. Remove the trim cover from the windshield outside moisture sensor.




2. Release the windshield outside moisture sensor coupler retaining clips.
3. Remove the windshield outside moisture sensor from the windshield coupler.
4. Disconnect the windshield outside moisture sensor electrical connector.

Installation Procedure




1. Connect the windshield outside moisture sensor electrical connector.
2. Position the windshield outside moisture sensor to the windshield coupler.
3. Fasten the windshield coupler retainer clips.




4. Position the trim cover to the windshield outside moisture sensor.
5. Press the trim cover inward to secure the trim cover to the windshield outside moisture sensor.
