Output Speed Sensor Installation




1. Inspect the vehicle speed sensor (62) for damage to the sensor, the electrical connector, or the O-ring (63).
2. Clean and dry the vehicle speed sensor (62).




3. Install the O-ring (63) onto the speed sensor (62).
4. Install the speed sensor (62) into the transmission case.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

5. Install the speed sensor stud (61). Tighten the speed sensor stud to 12 Nm (9 lb ft).
