Front Seat Adjuster Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Raise the seat to the full UP position, if equipped with power seats.
2. Disconnect the electrical harness (6) from the power seat motors, if equipped.




3. Remove the nuts (3) retaining the seat adjuster (2) to the seat riser (4).
4. Remove the front seat and the seat adjuster from the seat riser.
5. Remove the bolts retaining the seat adjuster to the seat cushion frame (1).
6. Remove the seat adjuster (2) from the seat.

Installation Procedure




1. Position the seat adjuster (2) to the seat cushion frame (1).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

2. Install the bolts to retain the seat adjuster (2) to the seat cushion frame (1).

Tighten the bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).




3. Position the seat cushion (1) and the seat adjuster (2) to the seat riser (4).
4. Install the nuts (3) to retain the seat adjuster to the seat riser.

Tighten the nuts (3) to 45 N.m (33 lb ft).

5. Connect the electrical connectors to the power seat motors, if equipped.
