KNOCK SENSOR REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the distributor.
2. Disconnect the knock sensor electrical connector (1).




3. Remove the knock sensor bolt (1).
4. Remove the knock sensor (2).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the knock sensor (2).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice.

2. Install the knock sensor bolt (1).

Tighten the bolt to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).




3. Connect the knock sensor electrical connector (1).
4. Install the distributor.
