Blower Motor Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the coolant reservoir.





2. Disconnect the blower motor electrical connector (2).
3. Remove the blower motor cooling tube (3).
4. Remove the blower motor retaining screws (1).
5. Remove the blower motor.





6. Remove the retaining clip from the fan cage (2).
7. Remove the fan cage (2) from the blower motor (3).

Installation Procedure





1. Install the fan cage (2) to the blower motor (3).
2. Install the retaining clip to the fan cage (2).
3. Install the blower motor.






Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

4. Install the blower motor retaining screws (1).

Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

5. Install the blower motor cooling tube (3).
6. Connect the blower motor electrical connector (2).
7. Install the coolant reservoir.
