Brake Pad Inspection

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Remove the front tire and wheel assembly.
3. Inspect the brake pads for wear.
4. Measure the thickness.

The minimum thickness of the inner or the outer pad is 2 mm (0.08 in).

5. Install the brake pads in axle sets only.
6. Install the front tire and wheel assembly.
7. Lower the vehicle
