MASS AIR FLOW (MAF)/INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE (IAT) SENSOR REPLACEMENT
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct.
2. Disconnect the mass air flow/intake air temperature (MAF/IAT) sensor electrical connector (3).
3. Remove the MAF/IAT sensor bolts.
4. Remove the MAF/IAT sensor from the air cleaner housing.
5. Remove the MAF/IAT sensor seal, if necessary.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the MAF/IAT sensor seal, if necessary.
2. Install the MAF/IAT sensor to the air cleaner housing.
3. Install the MAF/IAT sensor bolts.
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice.
Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
4. Connect the MAF/IAT sensor electrical connector (3).
5. Install the air cleaner outlet duct.
