IGNITION CONTROL MODULE REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Note the position of the spark plug wires for the installation and disconnect the spark plug wires from the ignition coil and module assembly.




2. Remove the 4 screws securing the ignition coil and module assembly to the bracket.
3. Remove the ignition coil and module assembly.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the ignition coil and module assembly to the bracket.
2. Install the ignition coil and module assembly screws.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten the screws to 4.5 N.m (40 lb in).

3. Connect the spark plug wires as noted during the removal.
