2006 Chevrolet Equinox FWD V6-3.4L VIN FSECTION Power Steering Control Module Programming and Setup

POWER STEERING CONTROL MODULE PROGRAMMING AND SETUP

If the steering column is replaced, the power steering control module (PSCM) must be setup using the scan tool. There are 8 different tuning profile calibrations stored in the PSCM. The scan tool will select the correct tuning profile calibration for this vehicle, and setup the PSCM to use that profile. If the PSCM has not been setup, the scan tool will display the Tuning Profile is 0 in the EPS data list, and DTC C0551 will set.

1. Select F2: Special Functions with the scan tool.
2. Select F0: Steering Tuning Selection.
3. Set the correct Tuning Profile.
