Scan Tool Data Definitions
Battery Voltage: The scan tool displays 8-14 volts. The amount of battery voltage available at the passenger door module (PDM).
LF Pressure Sensor ID: The scan tool displays a number up to 8 digits in length, or an asterisk. A number displayed indicates the left front tire pressure sensors unique identification (Id) code, and that it has been learned into the PDMs memory. An asterisk indicates the sensors Id code has not been learned into the PDMs memory.
LF Pressure Sensor Mode: This data parameter indicates the mode contained in the last transmission received from the left front tire pressure sensor. The scan tool displays Stationary, Wake, Drive Re-measure, Learn, Low Bat, or N/A. Stationary indicates the sensors internal roll switch is opened and the sensor has made its stationary transmission which only occurs once every 60 minutes from the last stationary transmission. Wake indicates the sensor is transitioning to drive mode. In this mode the sensor has detected an initial roll switch closure. Drive indicates vehicle speed is greater than 32 km/h (20 mph). In this mode the sensor's internal roll switch has been closed for at least 10 seconds and the sensor is transmitting once every 60 seconds. Re-measure indicates the sensor has detected a 11 kPa (1.6 psi) change in tire pressure. This mode occurs to decrease the time between when the pressure change occurred and the PDM has received it. Learn indicates the sensor has been activated by a low frequency (LF) signal. Low Bat indicates the sensor's internal battery charge level is low. N/A indicates the sensor is in a mode not supported by the scan tool.
LF Tire Pressure: The scan tool displays 0-344 kPa (0-51 psi). The actual pressure of the left front tire.
LR Pressure Sensor ID: The scan tool displays a number up to 8 digits in length, or an asterisk. A number displayed indicates the left rear tire pressure sensors unique identification (Id) code, and that it has been learned into the PDMs memory. An asterisk indicates the sensors Id code has not been learned into the PDMs memory.

When to See a Mechanic
Stop DIY work and contact a certified mechanic immediately if any of the following apply:
- • You smell fuel, burning insulation, or see smoke.
- • Brakes feel soft, pull hard to one side, or make grinding noises.
- • The engine overheats, stalls repeatedly, or misfires under load.
- • You are missing required tools, torque specs, or safe lifting equipment.
- • You are not confident in the next step or safety outcome.
