CRUISE CONTROL CABLE ADJUSTMENT
The cruise control cable lash should be automatically set within 0.0-4.0 mm (0.0-0.2 in) when the cable is installed. If an adjustment is necessary, use the following procedure:

1. Twist the cruise control cable connector screw end clockwise or counterclockwise until the lash is within specifications.
2. Allow the throttle lever to return to the idle position.
The cruise control cable lash should be automatically set within 0.0-4.0 mm (0.0-0.2 in) when the cable is installed. If an adjustment is necessary, use the following procedure:
1. Twist the cruise control cable connector screw end clockwise or counterclockwise until the lash is within specifications.
2. Allow the throttle lever to return to the idle position.
