The EVAP Tank Pressure Control Solenoid parameter indicates whether the EVAP tank pressure control solenoid valve is On or Off. When the PCM commands the EVAP tank pressure control solenoid valve ON, the solenoid will be in an OPEN position. When the PCM commands the EVAP tank pressure control solenoid valve OFF the solenoid will be in a CLOSED position. The scan tool will display On or Off to indicate whether the EVAP tank pressure control solenoid valve is open or closed.
