Keyless Entry Receiver: Description and Operation
2001 Chevrolet Lumina V6-3.1L VIN JSECTION Description and Operation
The keyless entry receiver is mounted on the rear package shelf. The receiver is powered through the vehicle's wiring harness. When the correct transmitter signal is received, the transistor driver within the receiver will energize the correct relay coil. The receiver will also control which relays will be energized. This determines whether the driver's door or all of the doors will open. The receiver also controls the illumination of the courtesy lamp.
