2000 Chevrolet S10/T10 P/U 2WD V6-4.3L VIN WSECTION Driver Warning Indicators
The BCM sends requests to the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) to turn the IPC indicators ON or OFF. These requests are sent on the Class 2 serial data line. If the IPC can not communicate with the BCM via Class 2 the IPC will turn the Security telltale ON steady. The list of messages sent by the BCM to the PC are as follows:
^ Park Brake
^ Seat Belt
^ High Beam
